We are looking for Managers to join our dynamic team. Our teams of professionals help our clients' manage risk so they can focus on their core business. By intimately understanding each client's business, we convert information into insights to uncover hidden opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance.

KPMG's Enterprise practice helps clients manage risk so they can focus on their core businesses. As a Manager in KPMG's Oakville office, you will be given responsibility to run files with minimal supervision, while acting as a primary point of contact for clients.

What you will do

  • Detailed review of notice to reader working paper files, including unaudited financial statements and notes thereto.
  • Perparation and review of personal and corporate income tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client management, acting as a primary relationships with certain clients.
  • Schedule a team of accountants with varying levels of experience to provide services to a wide variety of clients.
  • Coach, guide and mentor staff accountants.


What you bring to the role

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Ability to work both independently, but also provide supervision and guidance in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and reviewing of work.
  • Currently holding a CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • At least three years of work experience in a professional accounting firm environment delivering quality service and value to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous use of TaxPrep, CaseView and CaseWare programs preferred.
