The Management Accounting Analyst - Supply Chain provides the Distribution, Logistics, and Sales Planning & Operations teams with financial support. The position's main duties are:
  • Prepare transport, distribution, and warehousing costing documents
  • Help the teams understand the reasons for variances
  • Consolidate, organize and check the explanations received
  • Prepare presentation documents on various impacts
  • Develop tools to improve financial visibility and tracking of operating expenses
  • Provide the Supply Chain teams with financial expertise for projects and ad hoc requests, such as product launches, calls for tenders, and network transformation projects
  • Help identify actual and potential network optimization risks and opportunities
  • Help develop a distribution and logistics costing tool
  • Model the distribution network
  • Build a standard costs matrix per customer and product type
  • Maintain the tool in the long term by adding new products, customers and changes to the network
  • Incorporate costs into Decimal

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) earned or in progress (an asset)
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in management accounting
  • Computer literate, including advanced Excel (PowerQuery/PowerBi an asset)
  • Experience processing complex databases drawn from multiple sources
  • Ability to see the big picture, and to manage priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent command of French and English, written and spoken
