Conduct independent analyses of processes to provide expert advice on the effectiveness of risk management practices.

What you'll do:

• Consult with colleagues on business unit objectives and processes, including risks and controls
• Develop and execute audit plan and program, defining the steps needed to evaluate internal controls
• Use professional judgment to conclude effectiveness of risk management
• Report results to management

What you'll need:

• A degree in commerce and an accounting or audit designation plus at least three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Expertise with internal audit practices, theories and trends
• An understanding of risk management practices
• Knowledge of specialized audit software and tools
