The Position:
It is key for this position to be able to provide optimal client service with the provision of quality, timely, and cost-effective accounting services. You will need to able to proactively work to manage and maintain effective client relationships and continually look for ways to add value. Having had exposure to all basic financial matters in previous firms is essential to be a successful candidate. As you prove yourself you will get the opportunity to work with your own client base as you progress your career. In your position, you will be supported by an experienced team of committed accounting professionals.

A short summary of your skillset:
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in an Australian firm
  • Knowledge of Handisoft, Xero, MYOB AE/AO
  • Experience with GST, CGT, FBT and Division 7A
  • Exceptional technical knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Team player abilities
  • First-rate communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work with clients, helping them with their needs and helping them solve and deal with their problems
  • Strong professional presentation towards clients and colleagues
  • Understanding of high levels of client service

Your Profile:
You will need to demonstrate experience with XERO, and MYOB and good work-flow management. You should be able to work closely with the other accountants and should also be a strong team player adept at building amazing working relationships with your peers. As you will be liaising with clients by email and on the phone and face2face, you should have very strong communication skills.
