Finatal is currently working on a CFO assignment with an international sustainable energy business headquartered in the UK. The business is going rapid growth and is of the most exciting businesses in the Renewable Energy Sector.

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercial CFO working at Board level with experience of working in a fast-paced growth business, dealt with disposals, acquisitions, restructuring, and gearing the business towards an IPO status. An influencer with a track record of delivering change in challenging high growth environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure the company's financial and strategic position is optimised for future changes and growth opportunities

· Work closely with the senior leadership team on all strategic and tactical matters that relate to value creation, cost and budget management, financial implications of decisions, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding and management of existing financing avenues

· Co-lead with the CEO the formulation of the company's 5-year plan and support in tactical initiatives including an IPO

· Develop and monitor implementation of performance measures that support the corporation's strategic direction

· Monitor the company-wide implementation and performance of the strategic plan

· Ensure effective relationship with key stakeholders such as the CEO, management team and the chairman via regular meetings to review the developments, issues, opportunities, performance and/or concerns.

· Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments

· Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks

· Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure

· Able to build exceptional and robust team

· Responsible for the recruitment, induction, development and performance management of the finance teams

· Ensure that company financial systems across the Group are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth

· Oversee major financial processes and provide guidance and support to the Board

· Ensure the Board is alerted of forthcoming complex, contentious or sensitive issues affecting the company and have a financial impact

· Contribute to the development of a Group reporting strategy, including monthly consolidated accounts, Group cash flow and devising strategies for managing FOREX exposure amongst other things. The key aim is to provide financial analysis and help guide all activities, plans, targets and business drivers, enabling appropriate decision-making with the most profitable outcomes
