Are you a qualified accountant with regulatory and liquidity reporting experience from within the financial services sector? If so, then we want to hear from you!

Our client, a global financial services firm, based in Glasgow, is looking for a Liquidity Risk Control Director to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. Extension is expected.

Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Accountancy qualification (CA, ACCA or CIMA) or relevant degree/equivalent experience
  • Relevant work experience in the financial services industry (Financial/Product Control or Treasury/Funding) is preferred
  • Experience of managing people and delegating tasks is preferred as this is a managerial level role
  • Ability to summarise data/themes in a meaningful format

Core Responsibilities:
  • Review the preparation processes for sections of the daily and monthly liquidity reporting suite
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders across different departments and regions
  • Undertake analysis of liquidity reporting data to validate and understand key business drivers
  • Participate in improvement efforts including department level work streams and IT automation initiatives
  • Ensure liquidity reporting adheres to the defined control framework and is consistent with the key reporting produced across the wider team
