This high-profile role reports into the Head of UK Financial Control and offers great exposure to the Finance Director and other Executive members. Working for a FTSE250 £200m t/o Group will give the opportunity to understand all aspects of the business and own external reporting. You will work closely with our UK and Romanian finance teams to deliver high quality reports and improve processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the quarterly, half yearly and annual reports process together with compilation of supporting documentation
- Preparation and consolidation of the monthly group management accounts, including liaising with senior managers and Executive members for submission to the Executives and Board members.
- Manage the UK Management Accounts team of 5
- Managing the external audit whilst being a key point of contact for technical queries
- Assisting on group corporate treasury matters including the management of cash flows and Carbon reporting
- Assisting with preparation of analysis and other ad-hoc presentations and analysis for the CEO, Finance Director and senior management team
- Understanding new accounting standards and assessing the impact to the group and presenting to the audit committee
- PERSON SPECIFICATION
- In depth knowledge of the group reporting and consolidation process
- Qualified accountant with experience within a public limited company
- Strong academic background
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to implement and improve existing processes
- Commercial acumen and the ability to contribute to the overall business strategy overtime.
- Strong excel skills (Vlookups and pivot tables minimum)
- General Microsoft office skills, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
