Fyte are delighted to bring to market this interim opportunity to work closely with the financial controller of this leading business and support them with month end, the year end close and annual budget and forecasting process. This role would be best suited to someone who is either immediately available or at short notice as it will be covering a maternity leave and require a handover.

What's the role?

• Prepare all relevant month-end reporting packs and commentary.
• Preparing and presenting the pack to the leadership team for the monthly (informal) meetings
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed assets
• Preparing all accruals and prepayments
• Maintain the integrity of the system (SAGE) - coding, suppliers etc
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory returns, VAT returns etc
• Liaising with auditors

• Banking and cashflow reporting within a multi-currency environment
• Overseeing multi-currency transactions, currency charges and updating the general ledger.
• Maintaining controls and the integrity of the records

What we're looking for?

• PQ (CIMA, ACCA or ICAS) and ideally educated to HNC/HND or degree level
• Available at short notice
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Experience in accounting standards and systems (SAGE essential)
• A team player who can work unsupervised, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work to hit month end deadlines.
