Roles and Responsibilities
- Have a good grasp of all operationalrisk related policies to perform impact analysis and assessment on treasurybusiness
- Communicate and build awarenessof operational risk requirements to Global Treasury staff
- Represent Global Treasury asOperational Risk Partner in various meetings and working groups related tooperational risk management
- Carry out assessment of Email ContentMonitoring escalation for Global Treasury including overseas centres
- Carry out periodic front officeoperational risk control monitoring and assessment
- Carry out assessment, testingand review of the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls in the GlobalTreasury Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Regulatory RequirementSelf-Assessment (RRSA)
- Facilitate periodic qualityassurance review by Operational Risk Management
- Implement business processesand controls to ensure that gaps identified are mitigated
- Ensure timely submission ofperiodic attestation, assessments and reports related to operational risk
- Report and carry out deep dives of operational risk / loss eventsand propose controls for process improvements
- Follow up on projects related to operational risk managementinvolving Global Treasury
- Champion and Lead in performingoverall review of existing controls and risk assessment with an objective ofensuring that the relevant controls gaps, if any, are mitigated
- Represent GT in fronting audit and operational risk queries,and manage the relevant content provided
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Strong Treasury productknowledge and controls, operational risk control and other support functionknowledge
- Significant work experience (atleast 5 years) in compliance or operational risk control base roles withinfinancial services environment
- Good understanding of bankingregulations, especially relating to operational risk management, highlydesirable
- Confidence to take ideasforward and to challenge others, where appropriate
- Proven ability to anticipateand identify risks and implement effective mitigating actions
- Strong organization skills withthe ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and totight deadlines; Meticulous and detail oriented;
- Excellent communication skills,both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentationsand documents
- Ability to work in ateam environment and coordinating with different stakeholders
