Senior Auditor

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Auditor to join our Scotland team on a permanent basis . You will join and assist our team of Internal Auditors to maintain our status as the premier provider of internal audit services in the UK. What will I be doing? As a Senior Auditor you will report into the Senior Audit Manager to carry out internal audit reviews as directed. This will include planning, testing, making recommendations, and reporting all while using your excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with our clients. You will need to ensure all internal audit work is carried out in accordance with the PSIAS/IIA-UK Standards and to TIAA Audit and Professional Standards. You will also need to ensure all administrative forms are completed fully and submitted by the due dates. You will also be required to undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post. What do I need? Essential skills and knowledge include: Fully qualified member of MAAT or IIA or CCAB or part qualified and working towards a qualification. Minimum 2 years' internal audit experience ideally gained in the not-for-profit or public sectors, although experience in the private sector will also be considered. Ability to write clear and concise reports setting out work carried out and the findings arising. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience of risk and/or system-based auditing Ability to communicate at all levels (both orally and in writing) A full driving licence is essential as the successful candidate will be required to undertake regular travel to clients' premises. The successful candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK and due to the geographically dispersed nature of our work, from time to time it may also be necessary to stay away from home.
