We are recruiting for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function of our clients business.

Our client promotes flexible working and believes this role can be successfully carried out working from home, combined with a routine of regular attendance at the head office in King's Lynn.

The successful Financial Controller will be expected to oversee the on-time and accurate delivery of management accounts and the finance function in the business. Working closely with each of the team leaders and managers you will be responsible for setting budgets and targets, preparing the necessary reporting and presenting consolidated results to the board.

What will you do?

Provide oversight and expertise in the development of insightful management reporting for both the Team Leaders, and the Senior Leadership Team
Understand the financial constraints and opportunities within the business
Identify cost saving and revenue generation opportunities and define the actions for the business to take advantage of these
Deliver on the financial objectives by working collaboratively with the teams
Manage and oversee external service providers i.e. accountants, banks, foreign exchange, and auditors
Analyse and introduce continuous improvement to accounting systems and processes.
Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, filed and reported in line with Financial Accounting Standards, complying with government regulations and legislation.
Build best practice templates and oversee their use across the business
Report to the Company Director with timely and accurate financial information
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting What will you need to have and do?

5 + years of overall accounting & finance experience
Extensive knowledge of Accounting Principles & Procedures
Accounting qualifications - Degree + CPA or CIMA Start: ASAP

Hours: Full Time
Salary: up to £80,000
