Interim Senior Financial Accountant job for a Qualified Accountant in Glasgow Your new company Our client a high profile international organisation has a unique job opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join them as an Interim Senior Financial Accountant to cover maternity. Your new role Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting your duties will be varied and include : Leading, managing and developing a small team of staff Playing a lead role in finance improvement activity Promoting a culture of continuous improvement Managing projects to drive efficiencies across the wider finance team and sharing best practice Supporting financial decision making through effective design and analysis of key financial information by producing regular reports to monitor the delivery of key financial targets Contributing to key management information reports for the Management Board, Departmental Board and Investment Committee. Contributing to the monthly and quarterly finance meetings with finance managers, business partners and directors Working with key stakeholders across the organisation to support resource allocation and monthly financial monitoring processes Providing accounting advice, analysis and scrutiny to support finance managers and business partners in complex situations and contributes to future business strategies What you'll need to succeed You will be an ambitious professionally qualified Accountant with previous Management Accounting and staff management experience.
