Tax Manager

Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an established professional services firm looking to hire a Tax Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This position would be suited to an experienced Tax Manager or an Accountant / Tax Advisor looking to progress their career further. Your responsibilities will include: Work part of a busy department and manage all aspects of tax compliance (Private Client) Manage all aspects of Tax compliance for trusts Deal with Executry taxation Manage all Trust accounting and Tax Planning Provide advice on the mitigation of tax liabilities for individuals and trusts Complete draft Tax Returns form, for individuals and trusts Manage all relevant Tax Planning and compliance Any additional tasks as required To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience: A minimum of 5yrs experience within a similar role from a professional services environment including a Law Firm or Accountants AAT or CIOT qualified or equivalent (preferred but not essential) Up to date knowledge of tax legislation Ability to work on existing case load with minimum supervision and keen to engage in business development Whilst this role is working independently, you must be keen to develop the role and manage a varied caseload Confident to liaise directly with clients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and prioritise a variety of tasks Experience and confidence using CCH tax software Naturally positive and enthusiastic approach whilst enjoy working as part of a wider successful team This position is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
