FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Description

To lead Accounts and Finance Department.
Provide strategic directions and proactive financial expertise to the Management, for both short term and long term financial planning.
To plan and manage the group and divisional cash flow projections with detailed operational transactions covering sales collections, purchases and operation disbursements as well as financing drawdown and repayment arrangement.
Advise the Management on the financial implications of business/ project activities.
Ensure existing financial guidelines and related administrative procedures are adhered to.
Ensure timely group financial reporting and analysis.
Preparation of budgets, forecast, and financial analysis.
Periodically review financial process and system and improve on the system if needed.
Responsible for internal audit, control system, tax planning and restructuring.
Liaise with external auditors, banks and other financial institutions on accounting, treasury and financial matters.
Develop procedures to analyze and assess changing business issues like profitability, margins, productivity and cash flow.
Oversees credit control functions, ensuring corporate and project budget are monitored and controlled on a regular basis.
Compiling key performances reports, identifying and understanding the underlying business and financial issues.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Candidate must possess recognized CPA & ACCA with MIA membership.
At least 5 years of working experience as a Financial Controller / Head of Finance
Experience in IPO would be an added advantage
Prior experience in manufacturing industry is a must
Vast experience in dealing with financial institutions in company fund management, loan facilities and etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to exercise sound judgement and make decision based on accurate and timely analyses.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result- oriented.
Required languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
