Group Management Accountant

My client in Sandton is looking for a Group Management Accountant. They need a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)) with 2 - 3 years post articles experience to fulfil all relevant financial duties including overseeing the creditors controller function for the group of companies (+/- 40 entities), head of debtors for the group of companies as well as oversee all other financial duties which include (to name a few):
- Compliance
- Reporting

RELATIONSHIPS AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIES:
Directly responsible to the Group Financial Manager Oversee groups' debtors' departments in each business unit / portfolio Oversee groups' creditors controllers' department in each business unit / portfolio

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Facilitation and overseeing the payments process for the group of companies;
- Overseeing the debtors' function for the group of companies;
- Ensuring financial systems on a head office level are working optimally;
- Obtaining all month end results and compiling summarised group results;
- Obtaining all payments from the group, reviewing payments that meets company standards & policies before releasing;
- Board meeting presentations;
- Compiling management accounts;
- Assist in any ad hoc presentations that is due;
- Group reporting; and
- New business models and due diligence preparations on acquisitions

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)) with 2 - 3 years post articles experience
- Motor industry experience would be beneficial
- Attention to detail - of high importance
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
- Deadline driven
- Overtime will be expected and we are not looking for a clock watcher
- Must be able to multitask
