Interim Finance Manager, Watford, Hertfordshire
6 Months Fixed Term Contract, £60- £65kpa plus benefits
Our client, an innovative market leader is looking to add the capabilities of an experienced Finance Manager to their ranks on an initial 6 months to cover maternity leave. The company enjoys a healthy work life balance and the prospects within the business are strong.
Key responsibilities: -
* Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
* Work with the Management/Financial Accountant to prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries for UK and various other international entities.
* Performing monthly and quarterly Balance sheet reconciliations for all entities.
* Support the annual audit process- while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
* Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
* Leading the team responsible for AP.
* Assist Senior Finance Manager with monthly and annual payroll processes.
The ideal candidate for this role will have worked within a similar role and in an international brand. Experience of creating statutory accounts, multi-currency invoices and payments and being able to lead a transactional team is key for this position and demonstrable experience will be a pre-requisite.
