Group Financial Controller - Salary Circa £40K, flexible working, free parking, pension, profit share

The Mansion, Roundhay Park, Leeds

The Group Financial Controller is a key member of the vibrant and energetic Senior Management Team, involved with critical company decisions. It is a full -time post but we are happy to discuss a flexible working week for the right kind of person, who will actively manage the finances of our operating companies. The role is supported by a highly competent Finance Assistant. After enduring the COVID-19 outbreak, we have a healthy order booking for 2021 & beyond which we plan to deliver under the Dine Group Services Banner.

So what do we want of you?

AAT or an equivalent qualification, with responsibility for the financial control of a food and beverage operation in, for example, the Hospitality, Restaurant or Hotel industry. You should be a good planner, problem solver and prioritiser; you are firm when you need to be but able to relax and have fun with the team on social occasions.

Your technical knowledge must include:

·Xero

·Payroll packages

·Forecasting through Dashboard applications

·Management of multiple operating companies with centralised purchasing & payroll

·MS Office suite

Our client is a highly regarded group of hospitality companies which offers its clients a wide range of services, from full Event Management to simple boardroom catering. Our venues include The Mansion, Howsham Hall, Rise Hall, Sefton Park Palm House & Goffs UK Sales Complex.

Key areas of responsibility include:

·Review processes and systems and implement and manage new ones where applicable

·Monthly P & L Accounts for the companies to trial balance

·Controlling Inter-company balances

·Monthly forecasting of sales & costs

·Processing the casual and salaried staff payroll

·VAT return completion to meet statutory timescales

·Job costings completed for all Events and Restaurant profitability

·GP analysis Food and Liquor

·Debtor and Creditor control

·Accruals and prepayment reconciliation

·Ensuring all statutory company financial obligations are met

·Banking supervision and reconciliation

·Ensure that employment details are maintained, record attendance and ensure that pension contributions are made.
