My client, a leading global pharmaceuticals group, are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Merseyside head office.
This industry leading healthcare/pharmaceuticals business have been growing significantly, and as a result are looking to improve their financial systems and controls, and generally bolster their finance team.
This is an extremely varied, high profile role, working with lots of different areas of the business. It's working with an extremely supportive and friendly team, and is the perfect first step for anyone looking to use their ACA training in industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Work with the finance team to define appropriate end-to-end finance processes to improve the control environment and deliver operational efficiencies.
Advise and document the appropriate procedures and governance, including the communications and re-training of finance teams on new procedures where required.
Responsible for change control of financial controls and governance, advising on possible solutions.
Working collaboratively with both finance and non-finance teams to optimise operational efficiencies across the company.
Supporting other ad-hoc finance activities as required to help finance meet its commitments to the Board.The ideal candidate will be:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
SAP (or similar system) knowledge
Strong financial and commercial background
Proven track record in adding value and being involved in a transformational project
