Responsibilities
- Responsible for cash flow management of the Group through active reviews of collections and payments, arrangement of funds transfers and assessment of Group's funding needs.
- Initiate and arrange for fresh banking facilities, and monitor utilization and renewal of existing banking facilities.
- Responsible for co-ordination, compilation and monitoring of cash flow forecasts as determined by Management from time to time.
- Preparation of annual budget of Group.
- Forecast tax expenses. Prepare monthly or at least quarterly tax computation and update Management on the forecast tax payable.
- In charge of tax planning. Liaise with tax agent or authorities to find out any incentives or allowances entitle by the Company and advise the management accordingly.
- In charge of group consolidation accounts to holdings company.
- Perform inventory costing maintenance and variance analysis.
- Review & analyse monthly financial report on Company and Group level.
- Ensure expenditure are recognized appropriately as according to MPERS.
- Review fixed assets listings, bank reconciliation, and hire-purchase and term loan schedule.
- Review and approve customer CN.
- Review all vendor payment before submit to Management for approval.
- Prepare and compile statutory submission such as SST submission/exemption and tax filing.
- Liaise with financial institutions, auditor, tax agents, tax authorities, company secretary, custom department and other government bodies.
- Initiate follow-up actions on legal measure to recover long outstanding debts.
- Handle and review the portfolio of personal assets and property of the Directors.
- Perform other ad-hoc functions as and when required by the Management.
- Possess Degree in Accountancy or equivalent. Professional qualification in ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MIA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years accounting or audit experience, and full set of accounts experience in manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in ERP system will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must possess general knowledge in income tax and keep up-to-date of the Budget.
- Willing to take up the challenge in assisting the Company in moving forward to ERP system.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in using spreadsheets to extract, compile, analyze and interpret data and detail oriented.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Minyak.
