Responsibilities
  • Manage daily general accounting activities - includes journal preparation and reviews.
  • Preparation of monthly deliverables for regional submission.
  • Undertake balance sheet reconciliations, trial balance review and flux analysis.
  • Review documentation of deals for revenue recognition purposes
  • Review and approve payments to vendors and staff claims.
  • Support treasury activities
  • Assist in internal & external audit matters.
  • Attend to tax queries from IRAS, tax agent and regional tax dept.
  • Assist in monthly forecast and annual budget.
  • Analyse actual against budget/forecast and instigating discussions on any identified revenue or cost variances
  • Act as business partner to department heads for issues resolution and decision making
  • Other tasks as assigned from time to time by Senior Finance Manager.


Skills and competences
  • Experience working with ERP systems. Good understanding of PeopleSoft system is highly desirable.
  • Meticulous with eye for details
  • Highly adaptable and a quick learner on the job.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in all deliverables.
  • Team player and work closely with colleagues to share information and ideas.
  • Hands on working attitude with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise work within tight operational deadlines.
  • Self driven and results focused.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good knowledge of USGAAP / IFRS.
  • At least 5-6 years of relevant work experience.

  • Degree from a recognised university in Accounting or Finance or ACCA.
  • Good Communication skills

  • Ability to work in matrix and cross functional teams
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude
  • Initiative and positive approach to meet work challenges
  • Mature with good interpersonal skills to operate as pro-active member of intimate team
