Your opportunity

Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice advises organisations on how to effectively mitigate risk and provide informed and intelligent risk management around business processes, technology and operations. Our Risk Advisory business is expanding as we increasingly are asked to help organisations to adapt and respond to new risks and take advantage of new opportunities presented by digital technology and the internet.

Managing risk and establishing effective controls are at the heart of good governance and sustainable business performance. Our Technology & Digital Risk (TDR) team of 150 UK professionals offer unrivalled depth of experience in providing governance, risk, control and assurance solutions to client needs, with focus on the Corporate and Public Sector (CPS). We design, implement and provide assurance over business process and technology controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis.

Within this context, we deploy analytics to provide assurance over automated controls and reporting within the systems our clients rely upon. Analytics are used within our external and internal audits, using both standard Deloitte tools and bespoke solutions designed specifically to address certain risks in our clients' business processes or within our audit approach.

Our principle areas of work in Technology & Digital Risk are:
  • Technology risk management
  • Project and programme risk management and assurance
  • IT internal audit
  • Controls advisory and assurance
  • Automation risk
  • Service auditor reporting
  • Payment
  • Digital risk

We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.

Your role

We are looking for Senior Consultants to join this dynamic and fast-growing team.

  • Ownership of a portfolio of audit analytics clients, reporting to the regional manager in the team;
  • Deliver technical solutions to solve complex audit problems;
  • Managing engagement teams within the wider Midlands Technology & Digital Risk team, including developing the skills and confidence of junior staff
  • Working with audit teams in the Midlands to integrate analytics more deeply into the external audit approach;
  • Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership in Audit Analytics & Controls;
  • Providing Risk Advisory/Consulting services to Top Tier clients;

Your work, your choice

At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. We carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you.
