Job Description
Internal Controls
- Bring Regional Stewardship initiatives to life in UK&I
- Support the Control Self Assessments and SOX Compliance process with the aim to lead this process in time
- Lead Balance Sheet Review continuous improvement & quality
- Responsible for approval of vendor master data and SAP access requests
Accounting & Controls Processes
- Enhance the payroll process, resolve issues, ensure clean balance sheet for all payroll accounts
- Lead on Purchase to Pay problem solving and process efficiencies
- Lead Intercompany reconciliation and recharge process
External Audit & Statutory Accounting
- Support for external audit and statutory accounting effort
- Prepayments, accruals and other routine accounting tasks

Qualifications
- Ability to work with minimal supervision alone and build strong collaborative relationships cross functionally
- Strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and results orientated
- Clear and concise communicator, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Good interpersonal skills to build productive and constructive relationships
- Eager to learn and challenge the status quo
- An interest in improving systems and processes to drive efficiencies
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- One to two years accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- ERP system experience, ideally SAP
- Proficient in Excel skills
- Experience of working in a multi-site, fast paced and dynamic environment is desirable
