Based in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset this well established practice has developed a strong reputation for quality service, with a very wide ranging client based across Somerset, the wider UK and further afield. With around forty people and number of partners/directors, the overall set up has groups of staff working for the partners. However the teams work flexibly right across all the groups in a team focused and collaborative environment. The firm has very wide ranging clients with around 20 audits or so- registered charities/academies and corporate clients, with a focus working with varied sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, up to around £10 million on OMBs, subsidiaries and other clients at the larger end. They are also developing their online services, expanding the Xero and cloud accounting offering across the firm and clients, embracing the changes and developments within the profession.

Description

Joining as an Accounts / Tax Manager and Cloud Accounting Expert with part of your role responsible for a very varied client portfolio, across a wide range of industry sectors, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies varying in turnovers, size and complexity delivering a quality services across accounts/tax and wider service delivery. Alongside this whilst this element will involve working as a key right hand support to one of the partners in a managerial capacity, managing the delivery of work reviewing accounts and workflow and having a hands on approach when needed, the firm has also identified a need for the right person to work across all entire firm helping them drive forward their Cloud Accounting/ Xero offering, working with staff/juniors, bringing them forward onto online/cloud accounting systems, upgrading their skills and supporting them in their development. You will streamline and implement the introduction of these systems to staff and clients and play a key role in driving this forward - you will get involved with delivering new systems and processes across the firm and to relevant clients. Profile

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalently experienced through your career, with a career background and strength within any of accounts/tax/audit etc and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around Accounts / Tax Manager and Cloud Accounting Expert levels and be looking to take your career forward with a highly regarded firm of accountants.

Job Offer
