The Management Accountants Assistant will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within the business. This role will ensure that all aspects of the finance function are completed in a timely manner. The candidate will produce monthly financial accounts which will allow the company to make well informed decisions about the company's future stability, profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce cash headline sheet and cash flow daily
* Post entries on Sage
* Post invoices
* Process weekly payment run
* Do bank recs on all accs
* Process salaries and do payroll reports for Director to sign
* Agrees i/c balances
* Process expenses
* Produce monthly management accounts, to include profit and loss and balance sheet
* Manage internal company movements regarding wages and departmental costs
* Review ongoing invoices on a weekly basis
* Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post- implementation analysis
* Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts
* Credit control to include debt recovery, via small claims court
* Raising sales invoices for completion income or withdrawal fees

Preferred AAT qualified
*
Experience of working within a Finance Department
Demonstrates good attention to detail and quality of work
* Self- motivated and able to organise own work with minimum supervision
* Proven track record of delivering consistently within deadlines
* Excellent excel skills
* Excellent work ethic, strong team player
* Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others and be seen as "approachable"
* Demonstrates sound judgement and good decision making when dealing with problems.
* Expert knowledge regarding the current financial governance compliances
