Business Research Analyst (Investment Bank)

Job description

Business information research and data collection through secondary sources including financial databases, yearbooks and internet

Execute different types of requests in a timely manner, request types including but not limited to conducting news runs, retrieving broker reports and company filings, screening for compcos and M&A transactions

 Liaising with the client/requestors to better understand their research requirements

Desired skill sets 

0-2 years of business research experience with a bachelor degree

Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferably with prior exposure to databases such as Factiva, Datastream, Thomson Research, Capital IQ and Factset

Good knowledge of various industries, economic and financial concepts and capital markets

Ability to work on quick turnaround requests and meet deadlines

MS Office working knowledge

Multi-task capabilities; ability/willingness to work under pressure

Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English

Strong work ethic, teamwork spirit
