Closing Date: 2nd October 2020 seeks an experienced Senior Finance Manager to to lead a team of finance professionals supporting EU Advertising Sales. The successful candidate will partner closely with business teams to maximize free cash flow and drive operational efficiency. The Senior Finance Manager for Advertising Sales will be a key member of the Advertising Sales leadership team, serving as a trusted adviser to leadership by driving analysis, process improvement, and controllership that will range from quota setting to business case analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team and provide strategic guidance and decision support in this rapidly growing and evolving space. Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our ad solutions including sponsored, display, video, and custom ads, leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service, managed service, and programmatic ad buying, these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, increase product sales, and more.


Basic qualifications

• Demonstrable track record of success including contributing to significant revenue growth of 10% or more in consecutive quarters
• Able to demonstrate involvement of risk mitigration strategy for Brexit
• Will have lead a finance department in either a multinational retail or advertising organisation
• Must have had formal team leading experience
• Will have a Masters degree in a Finance related subject
• Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
• Must show evidence of using data to inform decisions
• Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering results
• Must demonstrate fluency in English language both written and verbal


Preferred qualifications
• Strong commercial experience working with sales teams in a business partnering role
• Experience in online advertising, digital media, or related industries
• Experience with SQL, Tableau/Quicksight, and Cognos
