Junior Finance Analyst / Assistant Accountant

Based in Shercock Co. Cavan

Permanent Role

Salary: € (Possibly negotiable for the right candidate)

Duties:
  • Daily, weekly and monthly accounts support
  • Post Relevant weekly accounts journals
  • Preparation of Board Pack Slide presentation
  • Attend Production Daily Review meetings
  • Stock Control and Reconciliations of Finished Goods, Packaging and Ingredients
  • Stock planning - forecasting material requirements
  • Ad hoc analysis on production volumes, throughput, costs, material usage, etc.
  • Variance report analysis (standard versus actual)
  • Review and interpretation of KPIs highlighting any issues and understand trends
  • Provide appropriate challenge and support to business functions
  • Support the Commercial Manager and Operations Team in the continuous improvement process including capital investment Third Party Reporting


The ideal candidate profile:
  • Excellent IT skills especially MS Excel & Powerpoint
  • Degree qualified (BSc, BComm, BE) an advantage
  • Part or fully qualified Accountant (CIMA or equivalent) an advantage
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and a high attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • A strong team player with the ability to work with other business functions and to build strong collaborative relationships. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
