Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts including GST return, tax matters and audit matters
• Generate monthly management & financial reports for management review and prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements
• Oversee daily accounting operations which includes accounts payable, inventory management, taxation, financial reporting and provide supervision to the team
• Handle month end closing
• Prepare audit schedules and variance analysis
• Perform Bank Reconciliation
• Monitor Cash Flow
• Prepare annual budget and do forecasting
• Credit control and receivables management
• Liaise with external auditor and tax advisors on accounting matters
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and statutory regulations

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent
• Min 3-5 years of full set of accounts experience, preferably in construction industry
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax and GST rules and regulations.
• Independent and good team player, meticulous
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills,
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
