Senior Group Accountant

Dalata Hotel Group plc is recruiting for a Senior Group Accountant to join our Central Office team at an exciting time of growth and development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play an influential role on the financial reporting and treasury team in an award-winning ambitious and expanding plc.

Depending on an individual's experience, the role will involve participation in:
  • People management and team building
  • Marrying a practical and commercial appreciation with technical accounting skills to produce quality insights and advice
  • Production of excellent quality accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading and participating in financial reporting and treasury projects and liaising with people in different departments to deliver cross functional projects as appropriate.
  • Management of treasury and banking related processes, policies, administration and controls
  • Cash flow and liquidity management

The Candidate:
  • You have people management experience and demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • You are a qualified accountant with excellent academics and exposure to auditing and/or financial reporting in listed entities or large corporates and 3+ years PQE
  • You possess excellent accounting skills
  • You have strong technical knowledge in IFRS, with the ability to interpret the implications of standards for practical situations.
  • You are engaging, enthusiastic and confident with a natural focus on quality, accuracy and continuous improvement
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated an ability to build relationships at all levels
  • You are able to demonstrate their planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work
  • You are a strong team player who can support, challenge and influence colleagues at all levels
  • You naturally want to develop and grow and assist others around them to do the same
