Accounting & Finance - Graduate Programme 2021

The Finance & Accounting Division is responsible for all Bank of Ireland Group financial and management reporting processes to ensure that all reporting is appropriately governed.

The Opportunity

Over the three year Graduate Programme you will have three rotations, one per year, which will provide you with the opportunity to work within specific business units across the Finance & Accounting Division.

By the end of the three year programme, you will have received a wide range of experience across various functions within Finance & Accounting including Group Treasury. This will include exposure to internal management reporting and external financial reporting (including interim and annual statutory accounts), pre-close statements, published accounts and investor briefings.

What you can expect in return

This programme will give you expertise in MI and data analytics - and comprehensive product knowledge in the areas of complex treasury and financial instruments, credit/market/liquidity risk, balance sheet management and capital requirements.

You will gain an understanding of how the financial reporting process works for a large publicly quoted company, together with an appreciation of the importance of internal control, with a key focus on SOX requirements.

You will receive considerable assistance to support you in attaining an accountancy qualification, which is a requirement for any applicant to the programme.

What we are looking for
