Maintains and monitors cost and manufacturing accounting processes for all business locations. Responsible for the timely and accurate collection and reporting of cost related financial information and cost variance analysis. Participates in inter–departmental projects as required to support business decisions and profitability improvement. Responsible for maintaining the company's cost system so that accurate product costs are available for pricing the company's products and that product costs are fairly and accurately stated on the company's financial reports. Responsible for various financial reports and analysis.

Job Requirements:
?? Coordinates departmental procedures with other departments to assure accurate and timely quotation pricing and cost standards to produce new units or parts.
?? Analyzes and reviews bills of material to ensure accurate product costing.
?? Prepares actual versus budget analysis, manufacturing profit variance analysis, and actual to standard cost comparisons.
?? Performs product line profitability analysis.
?? Proposes improvements in Operations and Working Capital.
?? Organizes and leads the annual physical inventory and manages the cycle counting process as appropriate.
?? Participates in the month–end close, including preparation of required journal entries.
?? Prepares month end operating review package.
?? Prepares month end manufacturing variance reports.
?? Prepares and reviews various daily operating metrics to monitor business performance.
?? Participates in preparation of annual budget and forecast.
?? Expected to advise the Finance leader immediately of any errors, irregularities or significant adjustments or journal entries as they occur.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
• Perform the annual Cost Roll
• Lead and or participate in special projects and assignments as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

?? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance
?? Minimum of 1–2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
?? Superior verbal and written communication skills to work effectively outside the accounting department
?? Consistently operates at the highest level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards.
?? Demonstrated ability to build a strong partnership with the business operations staff built on respect, integrity, cooperation, teamwork and professionalism.

?? Strong business acumen and analytical skills, operations literacy, controllership focus
?? Ability to make tough calls – make ethical and sound business decisions to continually mitigate risk for the business
?? Demonstrated project leadership skills. Success in delivering accurate and detailed reports in a timely manner. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure with excellent results.
?? Strong leadership and team building skills. Strong sense of urgency and follow up skills
?? Excellent Excel skills
