Job Descriptions:
- To lead and supervise a team of accounting/finance staff on full spectrum of daily accounting function.
- Handling full set of accounts and perform month end closing in a timely manner including reviewing the journal entries, inventory, fixed assets, invoicing, receipt, report preparation and variance analysis.
- Preparing annual budget and quarterly budget forecast
- Review monthly reconciliations and complete all month end & year-end financial reports
- Analysis of financial reports, to advise on cash flow, budgets and forecasts
- Ensure all financial transactions in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are processed accurately, in timely manner and within prescribed timescales, including the monthly SST declaration and submission
- Prepare bank reconciliation and monitor bank balances
- Performing day to day accounting operations
- Keep track of expenditures and payments, manage cash flow for operation
- Update data entries and accounting records
- To ensure compliance of accounting policies & control procedures, and to improve accounting and reporting systems
- To present financial reports to Committee Members/Management in formal meetings
- To liaise with Club auditors, tax agent, bankers, lawyers and government regulatory bodies
- Perform other ad hoc assignment and task as and when requested by management
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or Professional qualification (MICPA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA).
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience as a Manager in the related field is required for this position and preferably with 2 years working exposure in Auditing Firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word and Excel and possesses knowledge in ERP is an added advantage.
- Working experience in similar industries will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills with the ability to deal with various levels of management and committee.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Possess a good supervisory, planning, organizing and leadership skills.
- Able to work under pressure, mature, self-motivated, result oriented and able to work as a team member.
