Requirements:
- Understand data and key drivers of business performance, including revenues, costs, P&L, balance sheet and risk weighted assets
- Development of robust Management Information systems, including product profitability and client profitability to ensure the business can focus on those products and clients delivering the most value
- Provision of meaningful commentary on actual financial performance including various KPIs, both historical and forecast
- Responsible for daily monitoring of capital adequacy
- The control and preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting information to FD and Directors
- Responsibility for month-end close delivery and accuracy
- Preparation of COREP and FCA Returns on a quarterly basis, and assisting senior management with the composition of the annual ICAAP
- Coordinate with US Finance & Operations counterparties to enhance GL transparency, specifically in regard to the European trading book
Qualifications:
- Degree educated
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience of financial services industry with a similar position
- Experience with a Prime Broker or Executing Broker would be an advantage
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and accounting treatments
- Appreciation of the need for regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of complex balance sheet analysis
- Excellent Excel knowledge
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
