DESCRIPTION

Indirect Tax Compliance Analyst

You will:

  • Be responsible for the completion of indirect tax returns and associated GL reconciliation
  • Have controllership over the E2E process and drive further enhancements
  • Develop practical knowledge of the Firm’s business and understand how your role fits into it
  • Learn about Indirect taxes across regions and how they are applicable to the Firm
  • Contribute to projects and work closely with key contacts across locations

QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field and 0-1 year of experience
  • Sound numeric skills and accuracy
  • Good organizational skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Good communication skills and flexibility to adapt to a changing environment quickly and effectively
  • Fluency in English

Team Profile:

The Indirect Tax group provides Morgan Stanley with global in-house expertise, primarily in VAT/GST and US non Income Tax. The team in Budapest currently increases its global footprint and will be a vital part of the global indirect tax operations.
