Leading broker dealer is seeking a well-versed FinOP/Controller to join their team in NYC.
Candidate must have their Series 27
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities which include but are not limited to: financial reporting, payroll, account reconciliations, vendor management, AR/AP, tax filings, etc
- Manage payroll processing and administration via ADP; set up new employees, payroll audits, payroll tax reporting
- Ensure all reports are submitted in timely manner including FOCUS reports
- Manage monthly reconciliations and bookkeeping; prepare travel expenses and oversight
- Ensure firm is in regulatory compliance with net capital requirements
- Assist in gathering data for tax filings and audits
Your Skills and Experience:
- Must have Series 27
- Experience as a FinOp in broker dealer
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong organization skills and multi-taskign skills
- Understanding of internal controls
