Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in accounting.
- Experience with tax audits, statutory audits, and communication with tax authorities.
- Ability to speak and write in Ukrainian, Russian and English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
- ACCA or CPA certification.
- Experience with management of compliance requirements for entities in multiple jurisdictions and with the nuances (government/regulatory/tax/commercial/industrial) of the markets in which this role will operate.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (Ukrainian GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP) and tax rules.
- Ability to work independently, but within a team environment with a confident attitude.
- Ability to support a local team in delivering their strategy.
- Excellent planning, analytical and communication skills.
- - Handle month end close accounting activities, including local billing monthly in-depth analysis and review. - Handle statutory reporting, statistic filings, tax filings and other compliance requirements. - Interact with external auditors and professional service providers on accounting and tax matters. - Support and work closely with the local management team and other regional and global functions and teams, ensuring appropriate infrastructure to support the growth and strategic direction of the company. - Collaborate with centralized regional and global teams, and manage work outsourced to various vendors and professional services firms.
