Group FP&A Analyst

Following a significant Private-Equity investment, a leading Life Sciences organisation are looking for an ambitious Group FP&A Analyst to join in a newly created role. The Group FP&A Analyst own core group budgeting, forecasting and reporting to C-Suite and investors, as well as get involved in ad-hoc projects including acquisition integration, fundraising and scenario/cashflow modelling. The role has broad scope and has a substantial opportunity to shape the role, the function and rapid career progression. Some key responsibilities : Own the core Group FP&A monthly/quarterly reporting processes (CFO Board report, CEO KPIs report, Quarterly Bank and Rating Agency updates). Work closely with the Group FP&A manager to ensure delivery of accurate and insightful reporting to the LGC Board, CFO, Group FD and other senior stakeholders in a timely, efficient and effective manner Drive improvement of the Group FP&A data analytics, reporting solutions, financial models and processes that support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and actuals performance management Provide ad-hoc project support to priority group FP&A initiatives (M&A, fund raise, systems development, scenario modelling, cash flow modelling, investor relations) Who you are Have excellent academic qualifications, with a degree in a numeric or business related subject CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar financial qualification preferable Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial modelling Experience in financial planning, displaying strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment with quickly evolving, often ambiguous or uncertain, business goals Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels A positive 'can do' attitude Previous experience in a private equity or group environment would be advantageous Benefits Salary 55-65K Competitive Bonus scheme
