Calling all finance professionals! Looking for a new and exciting challenge? We have a fantastic role for you!
We are recruiting for an established Accountancy Service in Cornwall who are looking for an Accountant on a 19-week contract to support local charitable organisations to recover from the impact of the Coronavirus. Working with non-financial leaders you will support local organisations in the community to ensure that they remain sustainable. The role is part time and you`ll be required to work 24 hours a week.
Some of the key elements to this role include;
" Reviewing the bookkeeping processes and systems of clients and making suggestions for improvements to efficiency where you deem appropriate
" Ensuring that you assist in the preparation of management accounts including budgets, forecasts and cashflow
" Helping to complete independent examinations and preparation of statutory accounts. Based on the requirements according to the client`s workload and backfilling requirements.
" Completing corporation tax returns
" Making sure that you maintain records for the project as well as client records, as per the organisation quality policy and systems
" You will also be required to update and develop social media networks to ensure the clients are kept up to date, this includes the website and the app
Salary: £30,000 FTE
