Cyber Security Advisor

JOB TITLE: Cyber Security Advisor JOB SUMMARY: The Cyber Security Advisor will be part of a team of professionals to advise clients in managing risks associated with their Information Technology. The successful candidate will be primarily focused on providing innovative approaches to assist clients improve their information security strategies, IT governance processes, and identify and manage key IT risks, while providing clients with real, value- added IT consulting services to ensure the relevant level of protection is provided. KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology (or equivalent) CISA certification is preferred. Further certifications desirable PMP, CISSP, CGEIT, CISM, CEH. At least 5 years relevant industry experience Experienced in performing IT Audits; IT Security reviews; Risk and Controls Assessments; IT Compliance and Governance Reviews; Technical and non-technical vulnerability assessments Experienced in reviewing diverse application and IT general control environments Experienced in the development and implementation of controls and management strategies to maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems Knowledge in Information Technology best practices, standards and frameworks such as Cobit 5, COSO, ITIL Foundation, ISO. Strong verbal and written communication skills with heavy emphasis on report writing and the ability to communicate strategy effectively across the client organization (levels & technical-non technical) Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently on different projects concurrently Client-service oriented with the ability to develop and contribute to strong client relationships Professional integrity and proven leadership ability.
