Audit Busy SeasonWe know everyone’s lives are different and that traditional working patterns may not be quite right for you. Whether you’ve taken a career break, had time out to support family, are semi-retired or are looking to balance your Audit career with another passion of yours, we can offer the flexibility you need. During busy season (October - April) you would need to work a minimum of 4 days a week The rest of the year is open to flexibility, whether that be taking the time off, reduced days or part timeWe have roles in a variety of locations across the UK We’ll provide a tailored training programme upon joining the firm to give you the opportunity to upskill yourself before working on clients. You’ll also benefit from our pastoral programme that has been specifically designed for flexible workers to support your integration into the firm. About the role
As a Senior Associate in the Audit Busy Season Programme, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Using feedback and reflection to develop self awareness, personal strengths and address development areasDelegating to others to provide stretch opportunities and coaching to help deliver resultsDeveloping new ideas and proposing innovative solutions to problemsUsing a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the business areaReviewing your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevanceSharing relevant thought leadershipUsing straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing othersAbility to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationshipsUpholding the firm's code of ethics and business conductEssential skills and experienceCA / ACA / ACCA/ICAS qualifiedExperience of financial accounting and reportingThe ability to learn quicklyStrong project management skillsThe ability to work effectively in a team, building good working relationships with both colleagues and client personnel at all levelsExperienced in coaching junior staffPassion for qualityWho we’re looking for
