We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager for a growing energy construction & services contractor in Bathgate. This is a full time position (37.5 hours a week) and a great opportunity to join a company that really looks after its staff, can offer long term work opportunities and an attractive salary & package. In your new role you will support the Finance Manager and work alongside another Assistant Finance Manager to ensure that the financial operations for the company run smoothly. can work well both as a team and on your own initiative. Must have · Finance management/payroll experience · Partly or fully qualified in ACCA Applied Skills or CIMA Management Level · Ideally experience within the construction/energy industry · Demonstrable experience within Management and Financial accounting tasks · Excellent organisational, Communication and Administrative skills · Ability

to prioritise a high volume of work & wide range of tasks · Competent with all Microsoft packages

Duties will include:

· Day to day management and development of the Finance team · Monthly preparation and reporting of departmental financial results · Balance Reconciliations/Schedules · Journal Entries and reconciliation of ledgers · Monthly Vat Return Submissions · Contributing to cash flow management, budgets and annual audit
