This top retail organisation in Liverpool are looking for a technically strong & experienced Finance Manager to join the organisation in a newly created role due to growth & increased workload.

Reporting to an impressive Finance Director, your core responsibilities will include;

Full management of month and year end deadlines including P&L, balance sheet reporting, and ad hoc KPIs.
Consolidation of board pack
Consolidation of weekly flash forecast
Consolidation of budget, understanding key drivers within budget to prepare reports for the board.
Management of overheads including payroll
HMRC compliance (Intrastat, VAT returns, corporation tax support).
Management of FX purchasing for the UK business (USD/EUR).
Liaise with internal and external auditors.
Manage a large multi-function finance team including treasury, system support, purchase ledger, sales ledger.
Business partnering with UK-based operational business
Assist with weekly forecasting and annual budget.
VAT Returns to head officeKey requirements;

Ideally suited for an ACA Qualified Accountant, with some industry based experience in a Finance Manager capacity
Big 4 or Top 10 Audit background
Energetic and have the ability to be flexible in a fast-moving environment.
Experience of multi-location businesses.
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
Strong management skills with an ability to develop junior staff.
Ability to manage large quantities of data.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical matters to non-finance employees.
Strong organisation skills.
