The Northern Trust Company seeks a Senior Consultant, Risk Analytics to develop, maintain, and execute statistical model analysis to estimate loss and revenue. Ensure quality control of reporting documentation, model development, and results. Work closely with the model validation, model governance, and audit functions to address all validation findings and audit issues. Serve as a technical expert in risk analytics for stakeholders and work with project management team to track development efforts and resolve issues.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 4 years of experience with performing statistical and quantitative analysis of financial data. Experience must include a minimum of: 4 years of experience with DATA step, PROC SQL, macro programming, SAS, and SAS/STAT or SAS/ETS procedures; 3 years of experience with developing and implementing statistical models to be utilized in regulatory and compliance exercises, including CCAR, DFAST, CECL, interest rate risk, NII sensitivity, resolution planning, stress testing, liquidity stress testing, pre-provision net revenue estimation or financial reporting; 3 years of experience using VBA to create automated reporting templates in Excel; 3 years of experience coordinating work with remote teams; and 2 years of experience with devising statistical models for deposit balance and pricing, corporate planning, regulatory forecasting, pre-provision net revenue, and net interest income sensitivity.
