Michael Page have been exclusively retained on an excellent Financial Controller position for a Private Equity backed US Software company based in Marlow. Due to a recent acquisition, the company are seeking a highly qualified Financial Controller to set up the UK office and reporting structure into the US.
Client Details
Our client are a Marlow based SME multinational company that provide a software service to niche industries across the UK and US. Due to a recent acquisition, the company are seeking a highly qualified financial controller to drive the business forward from a finance perspective. Reporting into the VP of Finance, the successful candidate will have a clear progression plan and be a major stakeholder in the EMEA expansion over the next 3-5 years.
Description
The financial controller will provide financial leadership ensuring strong financial control and reporting for the UK/US business units. You will manage the quarterly and yearly annual audits and compliance filings, set up and manage the budget and forecasting process. You will also prepare 3 year budget forecasts for the US parent company to ensure the company are meeting the expectations of the PE backed organisation.
Your main purpose will be to set up and manage the full end to end finance function whilst having 4 accounts assistants to manage the junior finance.
Profile
The successful candidate will have a proven track record working for a US company, you will have strong US GAAP experience to ensure that you have the skills needed to be successful in this role. You must be qualified, ideally ACA - ICAEW, however, ACCA and CIMA will be considered.
It would be advantageous if you have worked in either a US private equity backed company or a US listed company.

You will gain a large amount of experience setting up processes and working with US teams.
You will achieve a basic salary of between £70,000 - £75,000 depending on experience with a strong benefits package which will include flexibility.
