My Not for Profit and charities Client based in Letchworth Garden City are looking for a progressive Finance Assistant to join there finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone to get into a role immediately within a lovely environment. There's also a chance to go permanent as well.

The client are a Retail business that have gone from strength to strength in recent times. Their growth has been exponential and its projected growth is equally impressive, as the growth they have already witnessed. Whilst not the most corporate of business's currently this is definitely an organisation that is going places.

Description

This Finance Assistant Position will involve

  • This Finance Assistant position will involve
  • Matching, Batching & Coding of invoices
  • Getting invoices approved for a payment run
  • Executing Payment Runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier statements
  • Matching Invoices to Purchase orders

Profile

The successful Finance Assistant candidate will be

  • Studying their AAT, ACCA, CIMA or be a graduate
  • Intelligent, switched on and hard working
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with invoices
  • Have office experience preferably within a finance department
  • Happy to use Sage Line 50
