Description
As the Statutory Reporting Manager you will take responsibility for a range of technical activities including submitting IFRS the statutory accounts and keeping up-to-date with accounting standard changes through reading and liaising with the auditors, dealing with all aspects of corporation tax, operational reporting looking at cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, and finally looking at internal controls for internal audits.
The Statutory Reporting Manager will be supporting the Financial Controller at the office in Berkshire as a smaller part of the role which will include managing cash flow, VAT reporting and company secretarial responsibilities.
Profile
Applicants for this Statutory Reporting Manager role should be recently qualified accountants (preferably ACA or ACCA qualified), having qualified in a top-10 practice. Industry experience after working in practice would be desirable but is by no means necessary. Intimate knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS is preferable with continued interest in keeping up to date with any changes to these standards. Overall you will need strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues all across the globe, but mainly in the United States to get the information required for your reporting. Stakeholder interaction is key so senior stakeholder exposure in practice or your current role after practice is preferable, but experience in the business services sector is not essential for this role in Berkshire.
