Client Details
Leading business based in the Haywards Heath area are seeking an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for;
- To be able to assist with daily reconciliation of bank statements
- Answering queries on all aspects of general ledger
- To be able to assist on weekly treasury forecasts and monthly treasury forecasts to consider long term deposits.
- To be able to prepare the monthly reconciliation of interest and bank charges.
- Processing Sales invoice requests from sites.
- General Ledger processing and reconciliations.
- Processing Inter company invoices, following up for payment approval and monthly reconciliation.
- Reconciliations for VAT returns.
- Investigation of accounts related to VAT.
Profile
- Selection of Finance systems
- Good working knowledge of Excel

£22,000 to £24,500 DOE
