Governance, Policy and Reporting Manager Banking This key role within the Bank's second line of defence is a critical one involving the ongoing development and management of the governance, reporting and policy framework for the Bank. Responsibilities will include: Managing the Bank's policy framework incorporating regulatory, legislative and other business requirements taking into account the ethical values of the business. Ensuring that US Bank Group policies are implemented across Europe as applicable. Maintaining up to date knowledge of the regulatory and legislative changes affecting the business and stakeholders, horizon scanning and implementation of changes as required. Identifying, developing, implementing and monitoring risk governance practices for the Bank and ensuring that they meet and are aligned with U.S. Bank requirements and meet the standards for all applicable internal and regulatory guidelines. Ensuring there is a coordinated approach to governance across the legal entity; interfacing with the Company Secretariat to ensure that key governance documents are aligned to regulatory requirements and good practice guidelines. Reviewing the external and internal risk environment to support the production of targeted, data-driven analysis on emerging themes and issues. Occasional Travel including the UK, Europe and USA may be required. This role has been identifies as a Controlled Function (“CF”) under the Central Bank of Ireland's Fitness & Probity Regime. Requirements for this Role Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience with, risk management frameworks in a highly regulated environment. Significant levels of change management experience at a management level. Third level academic qualification, ideally in a Risk, Compliance, Audit, Business or Finance discipline and / or significant relevant industry experience.
