Description And Responsibilities The Commercial Systems & Reporting Accountant will form an integral part of the Central Commercial Finance team.  The candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent analytical and excel skills with a keen interest in systems. The EMEA finance team are undergoing a process of change following the implementation of SAP across the region. This role will be key in delivering continued and improved reporting from the existing systems while also supporting the design, development and implementation of new Business Intelligence tool in the next 18 months. Key Responsibilities Manage the month end close of the commercial reporting system ensure integrity of reported results and reconciliation of associated reporting systems Investigate reconciling issues and seek to initiate and implement process and system improvements required to align reporting systems Perform and manage the delivery of monthly and weekly commercial standard reports to provide insight to the business Reporting of sales, margins & operational costs, reporting against budget/forecast, identifying variances and investigation of same Support the budgeting process by liaising with commercial finance and financial control to collate budgets and targets for upload to commercial reporting and financial reporting systems in required formats with appropriate levels of detail Continually seek, develop and implement ways to improve commercial and financial reporting systems and processes Compiling presentations of sales & margin performance & highlighting insights for presentation to the Senior Management Team Ensure integrity of master data, support system updates and upgrades, implement structural changes in the system across various dimensions Manage the roll out of system initiatives and upgrades in the region to include appropriate system testing Support executive and leadership meeting agendas including presentation material, analyses and support Preparation of ad-hoc management information reports for both finance and non-finance managers for decision making purposes preparation of reports and presentations for executive and leadership meetings for the CFO of EMEA Qualifications Business related Bachelors' degree Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA 0 - 2 years post-qualification experience Advanced Excel skills. Macro experience not required Desirable skills but not essential (Training  provided) Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (OLAP, SAP HANA or other) an advantage Master Data Management experience an advantage Hyperion or SAP experience an advantage Competencies Required Analytical and numerate demonstrating strong attention to detail Versatility, resilience and ability to perform strongly in a fast paced changing environment Ability to work as part of a team, manage and develop team members Keen systems interest and understand with a problem solving mentality Self-motivated with a strong focus on detail and bringing structure and logic to problem solving Energetic self-starter with the ability to challenge, support and influence colleagues at all levels Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Manages issues and solutions in a proactive manner Ambition to progress to a management role within the EMEA Finance team For more information on this excellent opportunity please call Rachel on 01 5005911 or email an up to date CV to
