Operations Accountant

This international organisation has continuously developed products which serve to advance their field in general and improve the quality of their client's lives. Located conveniently in Western Sydney, they are currently seeking an Operations Accountant to join their Finance Operations team, on a temporary basis with potential to go longer term.

Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you main duties will include but not be limited to:

* Analysing profitability, providing advice on improvement of loss making accounts
* Business partnering with Supply Chain for Inventory budgeting and forecasting
* Overseeing year-end and month-end processes for Operations
* Investigations into discarded inventory and reserves
* Approval and review of general ledger reconciliations
* Ensuring compliance with SOX and accounting policies
* Liaising with manufacturing and supply chain teams to achieve ideal inventory levels

The ideal candidate will come from a Manufacturing and Supply Chain accounting background, within a large organisation. You will be CA/CPA qualified, bringing exceptional business partnering skills and use of a large ERP system including SAP, Oracle or JDE.
